This is Day 8. We have walked a total of 155 kilometers. Only about 640 left to go. Finding accommodations has become a real problem so we are trying to keep ahead of the game by making reservations ahead. Thank God for our new friend Sandra from Columbia who speaks Spanish and has a cell phone!
We are on Navarette today. Had rain this morning but it was a welcome break from the sun.
Hi Barb, really enjoying you blog. The story about the socks was really funny! I think you should have "sporked" Jill and left her on a rock. Say Hi to everyone for me.

And I thought it was only 500km....In the movie "The way" they made it look like a piece of cake and Martin Sheen is OLD!...Sounds like good socks and boots are the most important thing. Did you take a Video camera? Still with you in spirit, I will say a prayer for you....Keep on trucking!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mike and Susan!
ReplyDeleteI have been enjoying your blog Barb but sometimes I seem to be having trouble posting.I will try again. WOW this is quite a major undertaking .. but think of the rewards. Soon the blisters will heal and, it will all be "down hill "? Glad to hear that you are taking a break. Can't wait to hear all the stories Susan when you get home. You are in my prayers.
